Seems like the lights would reflect off the windshield at night and make it harder to see. That said, I guess it would also make the stars look even cooler with a slight 3D effect. So, that might be a win in your book.

No, I swapped with a 22 Wildtrak. So the normal plastic/composite material.

I have a fear of permanently changing parts. Heck, even when I swapped out the stock Badlands grille for the Heritage, I still saved the original. If I were to do something like this, I would end up sourcing an OEM dash panel from a totaled Bronco. But you lost me at individually running fiber optic to 150+ holes. I would have convinced myself that an LED strip was good enough. You need to post a video taken in the dark, though.

The Bronco in my picture is Vega, unfortunately I totaled her on Thanksgiving.
So this is in my new build, Lyra - but she's also getting a space themed wrap. Ooohhh just wait until you see that!

Great work and write up! My wife keeps telling me to document all the random stuff I do but taking the time to setup a camera or take photos doesn't cross my mind. Kudos to you!

Side note, anyone know the part Number for the stitched dash? My 22 has the cheap plastic and I would happily change it.
