Looks like BroncBuster has come through with a new competitor for your portal money....

I don't know but they do not "look" cast in that pic.... maybe they are and then machined?I can smell breakfast... lol Just kidding, hope they're great.
He does do the machining in Texas to get them to the finished tolerancesI don't know but they do not "look" cast in that pic.... maybe they are and then machined?
What happened to his machinist in Idaho???He does do the machining in Texas to get them to the finished tolerances
HelicalHelical or straight cut gears?
I believe he partnered up with a shop local to him. Recently purchased a new CNC and everything. 3-axis with 4-axis capability. What happened to his machinist in Idaho???
How do you determine it is more reliable when it has absolutely no history to base a judgment upon? These are not the Tibus portals he was selling.... Sounds like the design might be a knock off but it also sounds like the manufacturing process might have changed. Can't knock the product, he has had the more reliable portal setup.
Realllllllllllly annoying we can’t upload gifs anymore.I'm wondering how wide a Raptor on portals will be??
I didn't know that about gifsRealllllllllllly annoying we can’t upload gifs anymore.
They are still the same portals just on there 3rd or 4th revision. I do think the universality is a step backwards but he has had any real issues other than terrible offset! Look at the offset on these! At least the brake brackets have real bolts. How do you determine it is more reliable when it has absolutely no history to base a judgment upon? These are not the Tibus portals he was selling.... Sounds like the design might be a knock off but it also sounds like the manufacturing process might have changed.
You may be right they may well turn out to be more reliable.... but to claim that I think you need a track record.
