Looks like 74Weld is a lot closer than previously thought. Can’t wait to get our hands on a set!

Kinda true. If you re-gear the Bronco to 4.10 ratio in the diffs it’ll calculate to 5.0 as your final drive ratio with the portal. Perfect for 38-40” tires with the 10 speed imho.I thought with portals, you basically lose the daily driver aspect becaust the gearing gets so low you can't drive them on the freeway?
As many problems as portals would solve, I don't think I could ever spend that kind of money![]()
Nope. Extended brake lines and as mentioned before, I’d re-gear to keep the rpms more suitable for daily driving. You don’t have to re-gear but I would.any other mods to the suspension to accommodate the portals?
What are portals, other than doorways to other dimensions?![]()

Too bad they can't do a 1:1 gear ratio. I guess they assuming people would be putting much larger tires on.
Man I can't imagine going down the freeway at 80 with portals but if that's true.. that's awesome.
I have the 4.7 gear ratio in my Bronco, would putting Portals on be to much of a regear to my highway driving experience? I am currently running 37"s. Should one have to regear to put the Bronco back at a final gear ratio that falls within the 4.56-4.88 range?Looks like 74Weld is a lot closer than previously thought. You can re-gear if you want but the owner of 74 didn’t and said he does mind it with the 38’sI have the 4.7 gear ratio in my Bronco, would putting Portals on be to much of a regear to my highway driving experience?
