Hey Gang,

I have had 7 Broncos and never have I ever encountered this issue. My driver window is squeaking near the bottom rear. Its driving me crazy, everytime I open the door it sounds like the car is 25 years old. Well its not, its a 2025 Badlands.

I've washed the window, tried Rain X, the dealer replace the window regulator, I've tilted the window in and out using the directions from the old window SSM . My next step is to disassemble the door myself. Just wondering if anyone has seen this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

Vids attached:

I believe this is the same as what I’m experiencing, it’s definitely not the same as the normal window creak that can be fixed by adjusting the bolts on the bottom of the door. I can’t figure out how to fix it either, hoping someone on here can before I take it a dealer

When/if you take it to the dealer it’s not the window regulator. They replaced mine and it did not solve the issue at all. See if anyone has solved this before I start tearing my door apart.

Mine will squeak like that when I lower the window. It stops for a few times after the window has been washed but them starts again. I posted a video about it a month or so ago.

So no resolution on your end? I wonder if its glass/rubber friction. I may attempt with the dealer one more time but after that I am going to take off the panel and see what's going on.

No resolution. It does sound like friction on the window somewhere.

I have a Vette that did that and it turned out to be the door seal gasket. Only did it with the window up. Just a thought.

Apply some silicon spray on rag and wipe runner glass interfaces. Also try clay bar glass could be some processing residue on it.

The fact it stops when wet means friction interface origin....worth a try takes no time. Can also try graphite so no residue.

my front passenger door started doing this a few months ago. I haven't looked too far into what could be causing it, but posting to say you're not alone and hopefully someone has a fix! Following.

Mine does that when the dust/sand level on the rig gets near full. I've found a couple of ways to fix it:
  1. Spray some silicone or dry lube on the rear side of the window down in the door. Spray on both the inside and the outside of the window putting the little plastic extension hose from the spray can down below the window molding on the door. The squeaky part is somewhere down below the top of the door.
  2. Run thru the carwash a couple of times.
I should start taking the can of lube with me to Mexico as the sand down there guarantees I'll have a squeaky ride home.

Will try this but doesn’t this also leave streaks on your window for a long time after?
