On Off Option when stopped.

I remember the dealer telling me how to stop this but I forgot. The manual says there is a button with a circle an A in it, but I cannot find it. It also says to turn off the 30 minute idle but that when you restart the engine it will come back on.
I don't like this feature as here in Minnesota it gets pretty cold and I want the engine to keep running even at stop lights.
How do I disable this even if it is temporary?

I had the same reaction as you when I first got my Bronco. Engine idle on/off button placement in the radio controls makes total sense…..

The engine has to be at operating temperature and the battery has to be at the required state of charge.

You are correct. My Auto Stop/Start doesn't work at all in temperatures below -5°C (23 °F for the Yankee People)

You can also purchase an auto start/stop eliminator so it will stay off all the time. There are quite a few options out there on Amazon. I can’t remember which I bought but it works great. It plugs in behind the radio panel using the wire that comes out of the start/stop button Wildtrak Whitey is pointing to. Super easy
