How many miles per gallon are people typically getting? I didn’t buy it for its fuel efficiency but I see people posting anywhere from 20-30 MPG. I’ve had the Bronco since April 8th. I haven’t gotten anywhere near 20. The best was 16.8. I’ve tried normal and eco mode on different tanks of gas. I don’t drive it hard ever. Rarely any quick accelerations. Mostly drive it around town and not many highway miles. Just curious if it starts to get better gas mileage after driving it for a longer period of time.

It's best to compare like models and configurations- 2 door, 4 door, 2.3, 2.7, 3.0 too many variables to guess what you're driving.

I don't believe I've even seen 16mpg in a 4 door badlands 2.7 with SAS, I'm normally seeing 15.5

Too many configurations to compare apples to apples.

When it comes to ecoboost engines, you have a choice. Want eco? Keep it out of boost.

This is about what I'm getting Highway with 2.3, 7MT, 38" tires. Although, honestly, it was about the same on 35" tires too.

I have been Able to get 16.7 in my SAS 2.7 badlands 4 door… if I avoid the highway, on the highway days it maxes like 15.5.
In fairness I have to drive it to work, and it involves a 10 minute highway drive, if I take back roads it’s about the same amount of time, but it’s early morning and I’m trying to avoid Deer so I usually take the highway.

UPDATE: It went to 17.

I do not know what I'm doing wrong/right but mine says I get 21 mpg average.
4D, 2.7, Black Diamond.
I should do the actual volume/miles calculation to see if the vehicle is calculating it correctly.

Cool, another MPG thread. 😐

15.5 mpg with 37’s. 2.3 4dr, 4.47 gears, Sport mode, premium fuel, spirited driving, 2wd. Speedometer corrected for tire dia. country road/small town driving.
BTW, theoretically you will get slightly better fuel mileage on high octane fuel. I run it because it has a turbo, not for the mpg.

My moardoor 25 Heritage (SAS) 2.7 is usually 18.x-19.x combined, which is mostly local driving with some short highway stints and I like to get on the throttle a bit. That is the lifetime average over almost 25k miles.

The best hundred mile+ averages I’ve seen is 20-21 on road trips with moderate highway speeds in the 62-65mph range. Drops to 19.x on faster highways doing 80mph.

This is on stock Goodyears which are about the lightest 35s you can get.

Edit: I also run mine on 93 octane (Shell) which absolutely makes a difference. I saw a significant drop in mpg when I had to run on lower octane in my far-flung travels.

95% normal mode

My 2022 2 door base model 7 speed 2.3 told me I was getting 21mpg with the 29" duelers. After I changed out wheels and tires to 34.6" tires, It's telling me about 19.5. The 19.5 is about 2.6% high since I didn't quite nail the Forscan adjustment on the new tire diameter. So, still around 18-19mpg.

I do mostly highway miles as I have 520 miles of highway commute each week.

Fuel mileage variations are wild with these portly beasts..

My 2dr 7MT (4:70) with heavy 35’s I’m getting almost 18 city.. highway mileage is worse
