Levine Confirms Cactus Gray Color Change on Build and Price

So... Anti-Matter Blue is now going to render as Purple-Black, once they get around to that color?

I've seen the Anti-Matter Blue at my local Ford lot on 2021 F-150s and F-250s. Its pretty darn close to the pictures. In person it has more depth and up close you can see the flake in it but the picture is accurate enough. I don't regret my decision on that color.

So it is not actually that Green, but is more Gray. Pretty big difference there!
Real life photos confirm this, but I wonder how many people have ordered the color thinking it is a shade of Green?

And the hits just keep on coming.

I feel like a lot of people are not as passionate as us will be disappointed.
There are 190,000+ Bronco orders. Only a small percentage of them are on BG6.
Those other people will rightfully assume that B&P is accurate.

As long as black is accurate, I'm good.

LOL, that new cactus gray isn't even close to accurate to the actual cactus grey. In fact none of the colors in the build and price are anything close to accurate representations of the actual colors. It's weird that they would attempt to "fix" one of the colors when none of them are accurate.

Are any colors actually accurate when portrayed?

Like if you go pick out a paint swatch at the store, it will for surely look different on your walls. The swatch gives you the idea, but in real world it's always different.

While I'm here... I can't get enough of the 'it looks different in light comments'. No kidding! Everything looks different in light vs shade, or night time.

....for some reason the Oxford white looks really white in sun light, but at night, it's not as white, white... weird, it's a chameleon color!

We got a little card thing of all of Ford's colors when we placed our order, the color in there was pretty close to the new color and the pics we had seen online.

I never saw anything to indicate the original B&P color was correct.

I would think that would be an important consideration whilst customer ordering a special vehicle, but maybe I am wrong.

If you get a chance I'd recommend checking out your local Ford dealer. There's a good chance you'll see a couple off Bronco Sports in Cactus Grey and Area 51. The update Levine posted is close, especially if you view it in a partly cloudy sky.

These threads make me crack up. I mean, almost every dealer has a ranger or a bronco sport in this color, and it is the exact same color as fighter jet gray on the mustang.
