I don't think it's clipped on, I hope it is, but think that's unlikely. If it's screwed on I NEED to make sure I tell the dealer to not install it. 1 it looks horrible and 2 I don't want the damn holes in the bumper or grill.

You can see the starter holes for the license plate bracket just above the bumper (in the CO paint) when you look at front end pics.

Front license plates are required here in California , but thankfully Eric at Kearney Mesa Ford put in a front plate bracket delete on my order I will find someplace to put it but it sure ain't going where the stock plate goes, guess I'll see how many fix-it tickets I get before I really decide where to put it LOL

Zipties on the bumper.

(had 4 black zipties on my Jeep Grand Cherokee for 5 years and they never failed in the Texas heat or Idaho cold)

Plan do do the same somehow, even if i have to drill steel bumper for some tie locations.
Oohhh or maybe weld some studs, for screws. bingo!

So, I don't understand the issue with the Mod bumper. Attach it to the lower removable part and when on trail you remove the end part that has the license plate because you don't need it.

It’s funny that BN only has about 5 posts on their thread and we’re at 3 pages. Also they are saying it’s an improvement to a previous placement/version. I haven’t seen any other different front license locations.
