Really glad the turn signals only use the horizontal part and don't turn of the entire DRL. I think cars that turn off the DRL for the turn signal look dumb.
Agree. Well done

@ZackDanger yeah that's the one. You're right, I see it now. Kinda bummed. I honestly like the standard grille and lights better. I was happy that the amber horizontals would be a good compromise for my preference. Oh well.
Yep.

Grills will be easy to swap for sure... and even though we have no idea what it will entail, I bet it will be a matter of time before someone here figures out how to swap standard and signature headlights.

Maybe this has been covered but what is Bronco life. Is it part of Bronco Nation..
Seems like it is similar, they seem to have a lot of access to the bronco
We are not a part of BN, our own enthusiast.

Ya, I have to say that the BD headlights look better with the amber lights. We definitely need a video with those.

Also, it does say "programmable" DRLS, what does that mean exactly.
Will post a black diamond one for sure

The top half of the headlight is the low beam (angled slightly down), and the bottom half is the high beam (basically aimed parallel with the ground).
Am I correct in thinking the LED circle with horizontal bit that's white is the DRL - and sowill be on any time the vehicle is on? (I don't have DRL on my current vehicle.)

There was a photo of the early pre production Bronco on the highway with sig lights. It was running with amber horizontals. I'm hoping this is what the "programmable" means. I would really prefer and amber horizontal running light to match the throwback style.
It's a good look for sure.

I might be the only one but I hate modern lights and turn signals. The lights are so bright that you cannot see the turn signal when the headlight is also shining in your face. The headlamp is blinding and the amber turn signal is overwhelmed. Also, the placement of turn signals and headlamps has been terrible. The turn signal is much too close to the headlamp, making the turn signal basically invisible when the headlamp is in your face.

There. I said it. The emperor is naked.

You would like amber for day time running? Most likely it’s not that way because no other turn signal light up front.
I think that was a feature on the Dodge minivan! lol

Am I the only driver who has zero idea what his headlights and tail lights look like? It has never occured to me that this is something I should care about or gather information on how they appear to others.

With the “configurable” DRLs you can set it so the DRLs are off if you set your head light control to off.

Otherwise they would be in wherever the vehicle is on (and in gear?).

There’s a video explanation posted earlier in the thread.
