This is pretty safe to assume. There's only so much Ford can do while balancing driving dynamics and fuel efficiency. If you're going to bash your Bronco over rocks regularly, plan to upgrade.
Yup. They basically have to keep the skids to a bare minimum. Aftermarket skids can turn out pretty damn sweet though, I’d like a set of these personally:
