Why have a SAS and take all of those components off? If you buy a SAS, aren't you spending money on suspension? Then just to take it off sounds crazy to me. Just buy the options (minus SAS) and then add the suspension. Save yourself @$1k ish.

That's kind of what I was getting at. Especially on a Badlands that already has lockers, and better axles. Wasted money on the gearing that doesn't make that much of a difference(unless it's a 2.3 MT), and the ugly Sasquatch wheels and tires just to take them off.

It is good to see some experimentation from companies that are trying new components. And, I believe the SAS package has some heavier drivetrain components that will be helpful with 37" tires, although, too high for me!

Badlands driveline components are the same as Squatch.

SAS is the only way to get factory 4.7 gearing, unless you get a 7 speed Badlands. Not saying the 4.46 gearing wouldn't be adequate for 37s, but 4.7's are going to be a better option. As someone who has had two jeeps re-geared, you're likely going to be paying more then $1000 to get that done. The SAS option on a Badlands is $2500. Sell the SAS suspension components + SAS wheels/tires to someone and you'll likely make all that money back. This is exactly what I'll be doing with mine.

So, they paid $2500 for gearing and wider fenders (I would also say badges but they deleted them) assuming that it is an auto and not manual or else they just paid all that money for wider fenders. Sure, you can sell the Squatch suspension components, but you can do the same with the BL too. Doesn't make much financial sense to me to buy Squatch if planning to go 37's with different wheels. YMMV.

@HardenUp can you reach out and ask them if it is auto or manual? Inquiring minds want to know.

For the record, I have a manual BL with all the parts necessary (not named here out of respect for the original content) to lift and go to 37's. Well, except the 37's as my tire of choice is apparently out of stock until later this year.

I have a non sas BL on order because I get M210s/lockers/Disco/2.7 without spending extra for the rest thats getting replaced anyways. I am going to up it to support 37s with standard 4.46 gearing, I have enough experience with the A10 and 3 OD gears and its close ratio, I am not worried about stuffing 5.13s in, I dont really plan on doing vertical rock crawls. The 4.46 will work and even if it didnt work, the pct of usage in that case for me anyways is not an issue. Its all in planning.
