So I'm cooking up a kit to run regular coilovers instead of ones with Bronco-specific top hats, but in the meantime I have the Stampede in less than 3 weeks so I ordered up some cheap spacers again. This time I'm going to reweld them before installation. It wasn't my preference but it's quick.

These Goodyears really are an impressive tire if you can overlook the thin carcass and rock flinging. My mileage is back up to stock, 18-19ish city and 20-22ish highway.
Yeah I don't know what all the complaints are about the stock tires either. I haven't had a lot of opportunity to try them in all the environments, but they hug the road, do great in the rain, I hear they're awesome in the snow, And I've had no issues with them off-road.

I just walk around popping out any rocks caught in the treads while I'm airing back up.

I remember when they first came out, people were selling the actual tires for like $500 a set on here... Was thinking of taking someone up on that but they don't seem to be advertised as much.

Maybe people have figured out that they're not crap after all!

It's not my finest work but the spacers should hold together now.

Called an audible on the winch plate, the RC plate is the perfect width as well and tucks in even tighter.

Also ordered the JKS max tire kit, those crash bar mounts are looking too ugly.

You should have cut your rear shock mounts, it's half the work of a spacer lift.

And cheaper...
I don't want to lose length when I go to lift shocks later. 2" more shock travel will make a big difference when combined with control arms that flex better. Sure I could have drilled them and left the extra hanging to go back to, but then the skids wouldn't have fit right so I'd have to figure that out too.

You still planning on using the stock mod bumper with this setup? Interested in seeing how that works as I’ve got basically the exact same setup and planning to follow your lead
I probably could if I were to chop it up but no, starting from scratch.

I'll be selling mine cheap in a couple of months when I get my 37s if you are interested. 7K on the ODO.

OK now we're shaping up. I need to angle back the bottom to meet the skid plate but the bolt in winch plate will make working on it much better, can pull the winch out without removing the whole bumper.

Finally got the rear spacers back in. The passenger side doesn't seem to droop as well as the first time is did it, it was really a struggle to get the extra length in. The driver side dropped away another 2" or so and made easy work of it. Still sitting almost an inch higher in front without the weight of the winch and bumper.

Speaking of which, I have the profile dialed in, now to start building out.
