building on @Tatonka 1 reply…. if you can’t drive to their shop, TSW typically has a 3 to 4 day turnaround on your shocks, not including shipping there and shipping back..Did you send them your stuff and/or how long was the turnaround time? Can you give some more feedback on what you had TSW do and also when you get out to Moab. I think at some point I may switch from collars to Hyper 2/1 so might go this route and get them rebuilt.
great info guys thanks, that helps.@Tatonka 1

They have a shock swap program for the F150 Raptors, but they don’t currently offer it for the bronco raptor where you can have them ship you already rebuilt shocks and then you ship yours back after replacement. That really cuts down time and some shops are not excited about having your truck immobilized, waiting for the shocks to be tuned and returned.. hopefully they’ll offer that soon as our trucks are coming into the shock maintenance cycle
great to see how you are using your brap. When you say whoops, what kind of whoops are you talking about as there are a lot of different depth of whoops? Are you full cycling the suspension up and down? When I was on a raptor run, I could not keep up with the trucks in the deep whoops that was fully cycling the suspension (part of it is wheelbase) but it was definitely dicey pushing over 35 mph and I have a good amount of confidence in pushing the braptor. So for what it's worth, the stock suspension does great in whoops well above 35mph. I have videos of doing just this at Sand Hollow and Johnson Valley earlier this year. However, you catch some issues as it takes a beating. My skid plate had to be hammered out twice. At 25k miles my shocks were smoked. TSW rebuilt and revolved my shocks while adding Hyper 2/1 springs and I will testing them in Moab next week. Truthfully, I haven't heard anything good or bad with Foutz but I have been advised to stay away. My plan is to add rear bump stops and leave it alone.

Well they all vary from shallow and choppy to deeper and more spread out. The ones in areas of Johnson Valley were more manageable than some of the ones in Hurricane, UT. The thing with whoops is timing and speed. Honestly, not making a joke but the faster you go the better it feels and picking your line are the most important items. However, I will be the first to tell you that I lawn darted my bash plate hard a couple of times and g'ed out and blew a fender off. It happens.... I have since made improvements and I can't wait to see how they affect performance. I am not trying to self promote but below are instagram reels that you can see what the braptor can handle.great to see how you are using your brap. I’m at 42k with probably 10+k off-road. Running 2/1” Hyperco springs, FMI no-lift top hats. Planning to have TSW service and tune (Bravo) my shocks and add SDI e-clik in June. Doing e-clik to tweak the shock algorithm especially between loaded and unloaded scenarios. So for what it's worth, the stock suspension does great in whoops well above 35mph. Yeah thats the real issue actual testing, but on new rigs thats always an issue. I don't like being a guinea pig so I wait it out and do the upgrades once.I don't want to give any bad information or misspeak for anyone. I would call and ask. I think a lot of the issue is none of these products have really been tested. I know of show rigs but no actual usage. Very limited in options for parts in that category.
