So, I was driving up a gravel hill a while back and it was fairly steep when I turned right, into a level area (think right front wheel extended and left front wheel compressed) I hear this noticeable bang, like a small hammer had hit my frame. Once I had gotten all 4 wheels on the level area I heard it again. Never heard it again, since. I tried to simulate the situation by putting a car ramp at right front and left rear, to twist the suspension and no luck. I checked my sway bar ends and everything is nice and tight. No signs of any arms or anything making contact with anything else. CV joints are great. Nothing noticeable underneath either the front of the rear.
Only thing I can possible think of is the sway bar disconnect slipped or something and then reconnected.

Does this issue sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks.

Something nailed the skid plate maybe?

It could be that front differential bracket thing.
There is a TSB and other fixes for it IIRC.

Mine has that bang/pop occasionally when I turn left.

Had a similiar issue and discovered that the nuts on the UCAs had drifted / come loose a bit so it was banging on bumps.

Re-torqued it and all was good.

Sounds like maybe your tire threw something into your skid plate? Just guessing.
