I am getting one just to save city miles on my Bronco for around town, especially with these gas prices.

Note that in every Western market that used EV opcost hype as loss leader it's now up to 100% + more costly to fuel up than ICE.

I'll take a neutral weight hybrid everyday, over an ICE even, if same weight.

Is it just me, or does it feel like we're being forced to accept Hybrids now, just like we're being told no one wants manuals.

EV's are dying like grandma, this Slate would have been better off using a generic 2.0t or a turbo diesel instead of being an EV; 2021-2024 are dead and over

I’d rather have all EV or ICE but do not want the complications of managing both on a long term vehicle.

I keep hearing EVs are dead but in the Seattle and surrounding areas teslas are one of the most common cars out there…especially in the Amazon/Microsoft bedroom communities which my once sleepy little town has become. Every other car here is an EV. I put my $50 on a Slate when announced to use n my 100 mile round trip commute. We shall see how far the final price creeps.
