The info posted says the 2025 4Runner shares same engine as the new 2024 Tacoma, which does get a manual transmission option with some trims. So there's some hope that the new 4Runner might get a manual option too.

In looking at that post, I'm firmly convinced that Japanese theory of car design is make it look like a dated sci fi space craft with all kinds of weird planes, and panel breaks.

I mean those are the people who gave the world the Datsun 240 Z for Gods sake !!! And now it's all these bizarre headlight configurations and stop and go body panel design.

It takes more than a website and shiny renderings to make a car company. Even the ones with actual funding can barley make it, Fisher, Lordstown., Rivan, etc.

Better to do nothing than to hemorrhage $4.5 Billion for the year on EVs. Not a big deal, though, so long as you have Uncle Sammy's deep pockets to secure the $9 Billion loan.
