That yellow one is hot garbage, but I will admit the white one has merit.

However…as others have mentioned it’s still a Stellantis product, which is a no. (Anyone wanna buy a 2014 2D JK Sport?) Moreover if Jeep thinks this will be worthy of a $80k sticker, they’re Smokin’ some serious crack.

They also showcased a JK with 40s and almost zero lift in this same way before... guess what never happened...

I think a Scrambler would be cool to have out there but I don’t want the Wrangler platform to go IFS, and I think it would be ridiculous them to be $70k+. I think Wrangler should alway stay SFA. I believe there’s a place for it even though the Bronco is a great off roader built the way they are. If I could swing it I’d have my Bronco and a Gladiator.

Hopefully they fix the death wobble on those things.
Meh. I had a 96 stock Dodge Ram and a 99 XJ with 5.5” lift that had the wobble. The Ram I fixed with a dual stabilizer and the XJ I never got around to solving. Stock they’re ok generally. I’ve put 2.5” inch springs on my parents JKs and JLs that never had a problem. The issue is real but are mostly self inflicted.

TFL did a nice piece on this where someone who saw it gave a description. Some interesting tidbits on the front clip and second row seating....

People need to reset the cost of a car in their minds, the AVERAGE for a new car MSRP is around $52,000 now... (The Scrambler will still be to expensive, but expecting any kind of specialty vehicle for under 50k is no longer reality,)

"Death Wobble" can occur in anything with a Solid Front Axle that isn't setup properly or has worn components... It isn't exclusive to Wranglers, there are just more of them, and they're commonly modified poorly.

Reporting on future model year development is always a guessing game, much of what is said will not be true of the final product. I wouldn't bet on any of this being right (Or the Scrambler even coming to market).

With the yellow one I can't help but see this:
Ford Bronco 2028 Jeep Wrangler Scrambler 1780055423064-t2

But the white one?
Much better!

Best of all?
The front clip on the far left on that TFL link above me.
That's badass.

watched/listened.

I like the distinct nose clip inspired by the J10 as long as it comes with the razor grill and not the standard 7-slots.

It is something to keep an eye on. I prefer the IFS. Used to hate driving my old Jeep on long road trips.

No front solid axle? Hard pass for the crawler folks.
IFS makes more sense for just about everything other than crawling. I think the smart play would be IFS in the sport and saharas; SFA for Willys and Rubicons. Buyer choice is always a good thing.

I interpreted the IFS as only being on the Scrambler. I didn't think it was going to trickle down to the Wranglers.

It is, I am commenting that it would make sense imo to deploy across the lineup. As far as the Scrambler, I'd offer that in all the same trims that the Wranglers and Gladiators come in. Regardless, even if it's just the Scrambler, IFS simply makes more sense for anything other than rock crawling. If I only got to choose between the two options, I am taking IFS every time.
