Rattle from the Rear of Soft Top

I am sure this has been discussed before, but I am trying to find out if I am just overly sensitive to the noise or if there is an issue with my soft top.

It seems like every time I drive my Bronco, the soft top develops some new squeak or creak or rattle. Mainly from the rear/passenger side area. Its almost like i can hear the plastic window flexing.

I haven't sat back there to try to figure out whats causing it yet. Anyone else have similar issues? Its driving me crazy and I don't want to spend 2k on a new soft top.

I'm having the same issues and now a new rattle is coming from the passenger front by the latch.

The same thing happened to me once, I went in the back and checked and one of the rear latches wasnt locked, just double check if thats not it, no idea.

I have a significant rattle from my passenger soft top while folded all the way back. I’ve notice play has developed in the metal peg the latch connects to and there is rubbing between two of the black metal structural arms.

@Ford I am in the Detroit area if someone wants to look at it.

OP have you or anyone else found a resolution for this? I’m having the same issue. An insane amount of rattle on the passenger side only when the top is all the way back. I can’t for the life of me figure out where exactly it’s coming from

Mine rattles a lot when the top is all the way up. I have heard when the top is down, the rubber bounce pad isnt up high enough. Sounds like what you may be experiencing. Check out this video for a solution:

My dealer told me that there is nothing that they can do short of trying to get the frame replaced and that an engineer that was in the area told them that the early models didn’t come with the soft bump pads. After 2 1/2 years - it is more than annoying.

I’m also having the same issue and it seems to be getting worse. I got the Bronco in April. My dealer service center said it was all good and they didn’t hear anything which, quite frankly, is impossible.
