I’m really “anal” about my vehicles, especially my OBX Sasquatch. Anytime I take it to the dealer I tell them I know every inch of the vehicle and they go over it before I leave. Also, I know the service manager and he also knows how particular I am. I had a recall done on my 2022 Maverick and picked it up when it was raining. When I got home there was a dent in the door.
When he said he would contact the body shop they work with I would have told him I would take it to my preferred shop and not some “hack” shop they use.
