What are your thoughts on the gloss kit so far? Did you have a protective coating like POF applied? Any good or negative perceptions? Thanks
I'll report back when I actually get them and find time to professionally install them. If the cf parts weren't supplied by Ford, it's a non-starter so I'm curious to find out myself. I have BMW M Performance CF parts on my other ride. I'm hoping for the same level of OEM quality.

I'll be Xpel PPF'ing the fender flares. It says in the Ford Performance description (gloss cf) that they're coated with a UV inhibitant as they rightfully should be.

Please stay tuned!

I want to see some baller buy all of these plus the full carbon roof from Anderson
Too much Carbon Fiber outside. Need some contrast. I love how it looks on my Oxford White with the Painted Top. Just wish they'd make full rear view mirror housings/arms and taillight bezels in Carbon Fiber and I think the exterior would be complete

where did you get the CH hood?
Both the top and the hood are from Anderson Composites. The hood is the Type-RT.

Bought both from Lethal Performance and have been pretty happy with them. Lethal was great to deal with and the pieces showed up ahead of schedule.

The hood is great, but plan on installing hood pins if you don’t want it to wobble a little bit at highway speeds.

Here are a couple of more recent pics of it.

I looked up that hood and according to the company, it does not fit the Raptor. What exactly did you have to do in order to get it to fit and does seem trouble free or is loose?

Carbon Fiber can look so sweet... some pieces I've examined are great.
All these Owner Photos posts are beautiful... very nice!

The Ford Performace Parts: Raptor Vented Hood replacement is awesome... that's one piece I'm planning on. The Rear Fender Flare Trim Inserts (black plastic rock chip guard) in a carbon fiber (wth PPF applied) would compliment the Hood Vent. Ford only sells this piece in a pricey package.
Found it and several interior pieces at CarbonAddOns. Some interior pieces would give a nice look too if not too much carbon fiber was installed.

They do have Rear Taillight bezel trim covers...

How’s the top in comparison to OEM… Did you have Paint Matched Top prior?

Any comment on wind or noise compariso?
Noticed Ft was 1 panel instead of 2, does this improve anything?

Is top a lot lighter when removin?

My Badlands had Forge Fiber Carbon fenders. It also had the Anderson hood with the Hood scoop in Forged CF to match. I loved that look; also, it was white. I would love to do something similar on my BRaptor. I have the same BRaptor setup, stripes and all as in the pic. Get the flares and hood bump done, but I would leave the vents White.

I don’t recall the Hood with scoop… I think I’ve seen a few smaller pics of it. The top looks interesting, but was curious if any improvements.

You’d go the full CF hood or the Vented section? I’d agree, no functionality other than appearance… but the look of glossy CF looks so nice! The Fender Vents I’m unsure… I think I prefer the match painted

Look forward to seeing your BRaptor if you go that direction. I’m planning the CF BRaptor Hood Vent from FP. Adding the Rear Fender Inserts by CarbonAddons for an accent to Hood vent… maybe the Rear Spare overlay and Tail light Trim.

Several interior components to consider. One can go overboard easily in CF. There’s a YouTube couple that has an excessive CF BRaptor… not even sure where they got all that CF.

I don’t think we did anything special to make it fit. As far as I know, the stock Raptor hood is exactly the same size as a non-Raptor. I know the manufacturer said gas struts on the hood weren’t compatible, but I installed Red Line’s and they work just fine.

Overall, it’s been trouble free, but I keep an eye on the center latch nuts to make sure they don’t vibrate loose. Also, the front edge of the hood does flutter a bit at 75-80mph, so I’m guessing that’s why they recommend hood pins. I bought a set from them, but haven’t ever made the time to install them. I’m sure I’ll get around to it one day…😄

Mine’s a 2022, so MIC was the only factory option at the time. After the wreck, I couldn’t buy a MIC top from Ford so was forced to go aftermarket. Out of all the options, the CF top was the only one I liked (other than the price!).

Build quality is good and it looks amazing in person, but I’ve had a couple of minor issues with the rear glass hinge covers and rear glass lift struts (common with the Anderson tops).

We’ve got a 2 Dr w/ MIC top, 4 Dr HEL w/MOD top, and Raptor w/ CF top. They all sound about the same.

The CF top is identical to an OEM top with the 2-panel front and single panel center. It’s slightly lighter than a MIC or MOD top, but it’s still cumbersome to remove it. I had hoped it would be significantly lighter, but it’s really not.

That's great information and very surprising... I would have assumed the CF would have reduced weight 20-25%. I'd agree, the glossy CF on a large top looks amazing! As you said, price is it's only negative. I'd also assume the noise may have decreased... don't know why I'd assume that but I did.

Curious, after the wreck, you indicated your couldn't get a MIC OEM Top... was there a shortage or design change delay? I'm just thinking of all the regular non-enthusiast Owners that have accidents, they wouldn't know where to begin to find alternatives.

On the CF Hood... for lift struts. Could you place a piece of strap metal to reinforce the flex at the strut... would probably need to adhere it since you wouldn't want to tap & screw into CF.
Pulling down on hinge an extra 1/8", raising corner bumper stop a 1/2 turn... would that help the high speed flex in CF leading edge?

I cant think of a worse choice of material for vulnerable fender flares on a serious off-roader. Well maybe sheet metal, but even that wouldnt shatter. This must being marketed to the "looks" crowd.

I'm learning what to expect on this entire forum:
Wagon
Queen
Family
Truckster,
Flavor of the day.

I'm ok with that as long as they do not espouse their ai gathered expertise about tire pressures, and how superior their choice of color-matched napkins are over my foldable sand-anchor.

Anyone who truly uses the assets of a Bronco is an absolute minority here.

The reason I don't have carbon fiber is I don't need to save 3lbs to counter the 300 additional pounds of 40's I put on my boulevard bronco.

It's fashion or it's so hard-core that only 1:100,000 can use it without excuse.

I'm ok with both.

And:
Some folks here have a weekly paycheck the size of some folks yearly paycheck...or more.
Going into debt for pretty cf?
Wholly damn.
Someone should slap-your-mom for raising the kind of stupid you are.

Spending a days wages?
Not so silly once weighed.

Who knows who's who?
