Not just 2.7's, factory filters have been different than replacements for as long as I can remember, we have to have different filter wrenches for the factory filters on the cannister types since they have different ends on the case.
Batteries are also different from factory to replacement...
I had the S Type axle back on my Wildtrak 4 door and really liked it, traded for a Raptor, and I think I'd rather have the Borla than the selectable exhaust on the Raptor. S Type was very tame at idle and normal throttle (little louder on cold start, but sounded good for a V6), but when you...
This isn't new, been in Explorer a year now, and was in Nautilus before that. So far its worked ok in Explorer and I'm not totally against it there (except Radio and Cluster are tied so loose one and all is dead).
However, go check out a 25 Expedition and you'll see where I'm definitely...
Had the Bestop when I had my 2 door (well actually still have the top), and it worked well when installed (other than open is just flipped back so you can't go in a garage with it open), but was time consuming to switch back and forth to hardtop, have to unbolt brackets, I'd switch for winter...
I get limiting options as things were out of hand, but the V6 takes me out, I was thinking about going back to a 2 door this year since 4 doors are everywhere now, but the price on a Stroppe is ridiculous and no V6 Badlands, I guess I'm out.
I've had mine for a while (over a year it was on my 23 originally). Wind noise is terrible, rain and other doesn't bother me, seals well for water, but I don't run it in the summer as I just run top off if its nice (and it adds a good bit of heat from the sun), but I do put it on a few times...
Yes, shocks are a wear item and aren't covered. Sometimes there is some help where Ford pays the majority of a repair, and customer pays a portion, but that is based on loyalty (Ford actually has a score that affects the % the customer pays), and the dealer has to be the one to instigate it so...
Nothing confirmed, but since Heritage continues on on Bronco Sport for 2025, I think its a safe bet it will be around in Bronco as well. I expect Heritage Limited to be gone with a new special edition to replace it.
Do we even know that Broncos getting a 25 refresh?, with all the delays at launch, it was almost a year after Bronco Sports were selling before Bronco really started shipping. I wouldn't be surprised to see any mid cycle changes delayed a year due to this.
1. I agree on the fold all the way back. I had a Bestop on my 2 door and loved the look and the tight windows, but didn't like having to close it to pull in the garage.
2. Needs to be easier to switch back and forth with hardtop, shouldn't require as much hardware removal as it does. This is...
I've done one, putting the hitch and wiring on is no big deal. You do have to remove the bumper, Just have some one there to hold it when you remove the last bolts so it doesn't fall and pull out the wiring. The module on the inside isn't a big deal, I broke the plastic cover on the first tie...
Released means its done and passed on to shipping, I can't say if yours is or isn't, I know many of my Broncos seem to have time between the production line and released, I assume for stripes and trim, but I'm not certain.
Ford just had an update meeting. News for customers is that units that are built and gate released will continue to ship. Also the vehicles on wheels (hold units) will continue to get worked on and released, so some good news for those that have built Broncos.
I'll be interested to see how the "stand up strike" pans out. It could be a great strategy or could end up dividing the members. For example, If this drags on a while will it make those at Wayne angry that they're living on $500 a week when the guys down the road are still making full pay? In...
I don't think it works that way, if the company locks them out, I think the workers then get unemployment benefits so it costs the UAW nothing.
One I'm wondering about is if they selectively strike to shut down plants without paying all, could that be a legal issue. For example if they strike...
Also another factor is MSRP itself, my early 23 had an MSRP that was about $5,000 less than the MSRP of one built today (same year, same options), $3k over an early build is still cheaper than MSRP of one made now!
For those wandering, this is how Ford's stopping the over MSRP, they're raising...
Everyone is talking about production, and yes that will be a pain, issue is that's not the big deal. Big deal is parts. Parts shipments won't happen to the dealers so broken vehicles won't get fixed due to parts not arriving.
Imagine your Bronco breaks, even if the part to fix it is...
