Received my Wildtrak today. What an experience this has been.

7/13/2020 Placed the order (2nd in line at my dealer)
5/2021 Pushed to a 2022 MY
11/2021 Ordered my Wildtrak
1/21/2022 Rolls off the assembly line minus chips
2/24/2022 Delivery date pushed
5/5/2022 Delivery date pushed
7/5/2022 Arrives at my dealer needing windshield repair
7/25/2022 Finished and took ownership

My dealer has been great. Ford's lack of communication has been frustrating. The vehicle is pretty sweet though. Good luck to those of you still waiting. It's worth it. Hang in there.

Now I need some rock rails to cover the pinch welds. Trying to decide between OEM and Rough Country. I don't want steps. Let me know if I'm missing another option.

10/2021 : changed to wildtrak over Outerbanks
1/25/2022: rolls off assembly line minus those damn potato chips

2/20/2022: built delayed
5/15/2022: built delayed
6/14/2022: finally built
7/9/2022: finally shipped
7/25/2022: finally arrived at dealership

I read the bronco6 form in the top line and then checked my VIN on the WWW.nhtsa.gov/recalls and now it does not show a recall on my vehicle.

I have a badlands coming with EDD 8/1-8/7. If you decide on OEM rock rails I'll have a set available as I already have steps I'll be putting on.

Huh. I'm a 1/17 build week and I had my recall done two weeks ago. Guess it wasn't needed after all, maybe I should've waited.

Well someone from the 1/17 group said that their bronco that they have already taken ownership of no longer shows a recall. However, they haven’t had it completed yet. So there’s your final “FU” from Ford haha

this is the 1/17 group. . .

Also, mine is still showing a recall.

My recall just dropped off, I’m expecting delivery any day now and it was still on there last week, this morning it was gone though! I’ll take it. If they just figured out that this week isn’t affected, I’m sure a decent amount already got them fixed when they ended up not needing too!

Called Ford CS weekly and pushed each time
7/5/22 email estimated date updated to 7/2-7/8
7/19/22 email shipment date change 7/22-7/28 (checked recall and has one on winshield)
No clue when I am actually getting the dang thing….. everyone else’s is arriving at the dealer

Just got one of my rates from a credit union for 3.5% and 2 weeks ago I approved at capital one for and they gave me 6.5% waiting for another rate. Hopefully they can give me 3%
