It has been the same way for me. The only Broncos I have seen are a couple at the dealers.

I’ve only seen one on the roads (although I don’t drive a ton since I work from home). Saw it on the road 3 times and then stumbled upon its native habitat. Lives a few blocks away from, so my dog and I make frequent walks over there as it’s parked outside. Same color, different trim.

WTF? Has Massachusetts never heard of a 30-day tag? That's bizarre. So anytime you buy a new car up there, it comes with a two week waiting period to take it home? I've never heard of that.

Mass did temp tags for a short time during pandemic but just stopped. Two weeks sound long, even for here. Maybe underpromissing so I'll be happy if they come sooner?

That's crazy man. I feel for you. In NC (and in most states I think), when you buy a vehicle from a dealership, the dealership issues a temp tag good for 30 days, and DMV sends your permanent tag in the mail. I can't imagine buying a new car (especially the Bronco!) and not being able to drive it home. Hope it comes soon for you.

PA just slaps a plate right on. You still have to register the plate and they give you temp registration sticker in the window, but I just threw that in the glove box. Registration arrives about 2 weeks later.

That’s crazy. Curious if he can transfer plates from another car in the interim. All this waiting, to wait 2 more weeks.

I remember back in the day the dealer would have actual plates on hand, but they started doing temps at one point in time.
