Good choice. Ceramic and PPF is the only way to go with black.

Will be adding 2 channel dash camera with parking radar and aux battery when I get her home too.

I am getting the same setup. Do I need PPF if not taking it offroad?

Do you need PPF? That is only a question you can answer. Tons of articles/videos/posts on the web about it.

That said, I have not read any cons to PPF and ceramic coating but only pros when properly/professionally applied.

The only con is that you will have to pay thousands of dollars to have it installed. For example, price to PPF and ceramic entire Bronco Raptor in Canada is plus/minus $6000.

My Badlands is fully wrapped in PPF, and it's THE BEST. I'd had two small rock chips on the hood and one on the passenger door fixed before deciding to get the PPF.
It pays for itself within a few years of highway/freeway driving, let alone going offroad.
As UniBroncorn mentioned, it's up to you, but if you want pristine paint for years upon years, it's a great option to help with that.

Do you have a black one? I have heard some interesting stories on black as you can see it come up etc.
