Blend date of 11/10. In Production as of 11/14.
Same/similar info from chat: "It shows that it was produced. The ETA shows Dec 02-Dec 08, 2022. The vehicle is on hold on a micro chip hold."
I'm not sure how 12/2-12/8 will be met considering that I'm in California....
same story for our wildtrak except ours is a couple days later than you. Also in California. Very curious to see how long this micro chip hold will be.
Just got off the line with Ford Chat and was told that we DO have a chip hold, but with an EDD of December 14-20.
This is where I share some “old man advice” for the “first-timer” member sitting on a Ford chip hold:
You can’t believe anything they tell you about delivery dates.
Our first Bronco order sat on Dirt Mountain from January to July of this year, waiting on a chip or a module. It was “in production” the entire time, waiting on what we think was a brake module that was manufactured IN July.
6 months after it was supposed to have been built. We are trading it in on this one because of numerous issues of being in the shop.
I’m guessing that Ford knows they can’t or won’t deliver these builds until much later down the road, but it’s less of a shitstorm for them if they bump us back slowly and incrementally rather than say, “it’s going to be next June before we get the part for YOUR Bronco.”
I hope that I’m wrong, but I’ve seen the beginning of this episode before.

My Bronco is in Transit, I received my railcar number this am from Ford Rep. I understand they all start out on CSX but I'm in Oregon so it should eventually be coming via UP. The tracker stated it was in Ohio today then will be in Chicago on 11/20. Does anyone on here have insight to this? Is this a normal shipping "route"?
I am 11/7 blend date and as of today(11/18) still in production, on “Chip Hold”.
