How is the noise and ride on the road compared to the OEM Goodyear Territories?

They look great...!!!

They ride great for an MT. They are stiffer with them buying a higher ply. They are louder but not deal breaking loud.

Thanks... I am deciding between those and General Grabber X3's and BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A's

I'm not too worried about road noise... they are off-road tires for God's sake!

The Nittos do look good!

Got some trail grapplers mounted this week. I’ve had several sets on trucks and they have always served me well.

I am finding I like the Nitto TG.... I have about 8000 miles on mine (just rotate -5 tire- for the third time) They make noise, but a lot less than some of the other tires I have had (TSLs, Toyo MTs, etc.). They are a mud terrain after all. Every tire is a compromise. No tire is perfect. These have their pros and cons. But on balance these are serving me well. Mine ride very well but I have A LOT of "C" rated side wall to help cushion the ride.... I do get a little sidewall squirm under heavy braking (but again I have A LOT of sidewall) .

Talk to guys that are local.... find out what is working for them and what is not. Tire pattern (tread) as well as sidewall rating and width to diameter ratio will be different depending on what type of trails you are running. Mud is not the same as mud somewhere else, rocks have different consistency, some are slick, others are sand paper, while others are knives. Your local groups probably run two or three favorites that work well on your local geology.

Great advice... tires on Georgia trails will probably not be the same for Moab trails.
I'll ask & research.

Generals do well in windrock, a yota that runs with us ran them for years.

(look).... is that the prerequisite for tires?
Form follows function. Look isn't a prerequisite, it's the outward indicator of the function. Racing slicks, obviously not mudders, you know just from the look. 😉
