The time has come for HPTuners to release officially release MG1 support!

What does this mean for you?

*No more ECU swapping
*FULL EXHAUST CONTROL
*No more sending in your ECU for an unlock

Just a simple MPVI/RTD flash from inside your truck via OBDII!

As you guys have seen we've hit the ground running with our own Bronco Raptor and constantly developing on it!

We've updated our website to reflect new pricing! This means not only is it less expensive, it's MUCH less involved for you!

Thank you all for the support, it's truly humbling!!

I was able to get all the Bronco orders fulfilled today, and have ran out of devices. My next batch will be in next week.

I've also ran out of those, so I will be placing another order to restock once more!:clap:

Thank you!!

Soooooooooo much easier than an ECU swaps and PATS programming. But it was good experience AND I didn’t need to get FRDS again for the keypad programming, so being an early adopter was still cool 😂

Someone is about to be very busy! I saw the news yesterday about this for the Mustangs, but was advised the tuning device was not yet ready for launch. Sounds like you dont have that problem? Also, may be a stupid question but do your tunes require 93 or 91 all the time or do they adjust for fuel grade?

I've already sold out, twice hahaha!

It's not a problem tuning these. I have my own I've been working on everyday for the past few months.

They do require premium fuel.

Adaptive/auto sensing/octane to me is not the right thing to do with a high compression twin turbo motor. At least not when looking to make more power, it's just not safe. The car will detonate/ping.

These motors are very very sensitive to octane.

If you plan to run 87oct > 93oct > 87oct I'd just stick with the stock tune.

This is a vehicle that was tuned improperly on poor quality fuel, listen to the detonation:

Thanks for the response! Ive been watching your tuning thread closely. I more was asking if your supply of the tuning device was plentiful since the Mustangs HP Tuner RTD4 for 24+ are pre-order at the moment.

Where we live we have 87-89-91-93, but 91 is scare and we usually run 89 for convenience. But 93 is easy to get, so I was curious. Thanks again.

Got it! Thank you for watching my thread!

Yep I have devices, and some coming next week as well.

I use MPVI3 so it can do TDN flashing like the RTD4

That makes sense. You can always flash back and forth if needed

Just as a warning ⚠ this tune is awesome but the odds of blowing off a fender and accidentally burning out on pavement go up exponentially. If you prefer to keep your fenders on and tires prestine is reccomend the ford performance tune

If anyone wants a brand new raptor ECU, that hasn't been installed, so you can tune that and then swap back in your OEM ecu for trips to the dealer, let me know as I have one (ill be out of warranty soon so now that the factory ecu is unlocked not necessary for me anymore)

So does this work like COBB tuning and can switch back to stock? I would guess most would need the Tune plus credits? I am more COBB oriented so this is a new type of tune, is it personalized for each vehicle like COBB?
