I wonder how much of that increase was due to 2024s being sold at a lower price closer to what they should be at.
I'm sure there is an element where previous MY Broncos are discounted that boosts the numbers. But it isn't the sole reason otherwise you would see the same bump in sales for prior model years.
Ford Bronco Bronco sales total 13,378 in August 2025, up 32% 1756983884202-e8
69k YTD in 2024 vs. 99k YTD in 2025. That is a huge number that isn't easily explained by just discounted older lot inventory.

I got off the fence to order a 2025 due to their offering Employee A plan pricing and another $1k to veterans. First time I’ve seen a deal for what I wanted since I got a stripper 800a F-150 Raptor off a new lot in 2019.

I'd imagine some additional sales are also coming from Edge leaving the lineup (58k YTD in 2024 as they started winding down sales).

One is my order and I gotta admit, I’m real apprehensive. First Ford product I will have owned in my 58 years. Toyota has Jumped the Shark IMHO, and after 15 years and 180k miles (298k total) I’ll be retiring, for some TLC, my 1997 factory locked Lexus LX450 (80 Series Land Cruiser) from my daily dirt adventures from my home to pavement. 5 miles of washboard and whoops, every day, year after year, takes a big toll on vehicles. Heck, I do more dirt in a month than most on here see in a year. I’ll be curious to see how well this Bronco fairs. I’ve never liked how Ford cuts corners on so many things that you can actually see. I think of all the things one can’t see and project failure. Fingers crossed.

There was an enormous amount of unsold 2024 Bronco inventory that has been sold at discounted pricing.

Not convinced an Edge buyer is making the jump to a Bronco.

30K? I'll accept that the excess inventory that was discounted has some of an effect. But YTD last year was 69K. They were discounting leftover MY'23s in 2024. I have a hard time believing that there were 30K leftover MY'24 Broncos that resulted in the difference.

The Edge is not at all comparable to a Bronco. Doubt this has anything to do with it.

Plan on dumping min 3-5K on stuff that should be incl at the price point: decent tires, audio system, interior organizers, body reinforcements (B&C bow kit), desqueaking, recording cam, sound deadening, window tint, various body armor.......

This does not incl the damper upgrades you will need for all the daily washboard and whoops add another $5-10K or full PPF needed to protect Ford fragile very thin paint.

Otherwise great vehicles.....everything is more or less the same anyway.

I didn't say the entire jump is due to Edge. I said some. Most customers don't care about the offroading stuff, and look at 2 row SUVs. Yes, Edge was a FWD based model, vs. Bronco. Not to mention Bronco is less car-like. BUT, an Outer Banks type model might appeal to some Edge buyers. Segments are like venn diagrams, there is some overlap.

We tend to dismiss the Bronco Sport here. But the BS is more likely to be bought by an Edge buyer than the Bronco. The 4-dr Bronco is like a bus compared to the Edge. I'm not convinced anyone who is looking for a nimble, efficient pavement cruiser is even giving a glance at the Bronco. Bronco Sport on the other hand is an easy sell to that buyer demographic.
