This is the first video like this that ive made. But I got the hang of it now I think. I definitely see where i can improve my drone shots...when im not letting it film in its own.

Ill make a follow up movie explaining what information i think is missing from the available videos.

Its 35 minutes long. But best viewed on a tv.

Epic trip. And, the bronco held up way better than i expected it would.

The road isnt as vehicle friendly as others would lead you to believe.

This is my journey down the Trans-Taiga Road — one of the most isolated roads in North America.
Starting from James Bay and pushing deep into northern Québec, this trip was about the land, the silence, and the road itself.
No interviews. No distractions. Just the wilderness, the Bronco, and my dog Kane.
This film is dedicated to Jim — a good friend who inspired many of these miles.

I want to get a drone and make (admittedly shorter and less epic) videos with my Bronco as well….looking forward to watching this on my tv in the next few days!

Thats awesome. Get that video done.
I want to go back for 2 weeks next year. Spend more time exploring, and get to Raddison. Just not enough time. Its one of the most beautiful places i think.

Yeah, it's incredible. The weather wasn't the best for us, but I didn't give a shit. Radisson, North Bay (furthest north you can drive east of the Hudson) and the hydro electric tour. Amazing! We set aside 2 weeks.
I made a rip-off intro to Reservoir Dogs as inspiration as a preview

Truly epic! Good on you for doing this. What time of year was this, and did you drive the rough stretch in Baja mode?

Beautiful journey thank you for sharing. Really enjoyed the minimalist narration - let the landscape speak for itself👍

I just did it. I left home September 13th. A Saturday and got back the following Saturday. Admittedly, too short a time. You really should take more time to enjoy the trip. And no baja mode. I was in 2 wheel drive the whole time, just once did i use 4 wheel drive.

I have just one question in light of current events -- did any squirrels touch your ride?

Did you camp wherever you felt like along the road?

So, there are designated official camp sites untill you get to Brisay. Past Brisay there are no official sites that i saw. But many places to pull over and explore. In the video, i do just that the night before i hit the end of the road. I used my drone to find places to camp because my body was done driving for the day.

It is not the squirrels that he needs to be aware of, but ducks touching his Bronco.
I saw zero duck mobiles. All the minning companies seem to use chevy trucks. At the speed they drive them on that road, i bet new suspension every 3 months.
