Hey Bronco Nation. Its been a while since I dropped the original Auxiliary Retrofit DIY - How To write-up, almost four years ago. Since that time, there's been a lot of solutions that have hit the aftermarket. A few of you have asked for some help, or brought up some great alternatives and I thought it useful to share that information with the broader community.

First, Ford Performance just released a kit for installing Auxiliary switches thats a bit easier than the retrofit route. Downside is you're only getting 4 switches vs the factory 6 setup. It also looks a little incomplete, IMO.

Hunting around for alternatives, I found these very similar, OEM style Auxiliary switch kits on Amazon that give you the factory look while avoiding headache messing with the factory installed BCM-C under the hood. Much easier than the retrofit, less expensive than the Ford option, and they give you 6 like off the assembly line vs the Ford Performance kit that's only 4.

I also know there's a bunch of diehard Auxbeam fans who swear by theirs and the ability to customize the buttons. For the money they offer a similar solution at a fraction of the price, with drilling to mount the touchpad as the main downside. Plus they're on sale right now, making them a very attractive option.

In the case with all of these solutions, they are a bit more straight forward vs the more expensive OEM part swap option.
Have you needed to do a retrofit to your Bronco's setup? If you have some words of wisdom drop those in the thread below. I'd love to hear what worked for your personal build.
