Just got the camera software and bandaid for the rear shocks done. Now I look and a new recall comes around for the drivers seat pivot bolt and link.
Ford Recall 25SB5 affects over 163,256 Ford Bronco SUVs from the 2021-2023 model years due to an issue with loose bolts in the front seat frames. If the seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt dislodges, it can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Affected vehicles
- 2021–2023 Ford Bronco produced between September 23, 2020, and November 30, 2022.
The risk
In affected vehicles, a front seat height-adjust pivot bolt could become loose or detach from the seat frame. In the event of a crash, a seat with a dislodged bolt may not properly restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury. Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue.
The remedy
Ford dealers will replace the pivot links and bolts in the front seats free of charge.
Owner instructions
- Wait for official notification:Ford began sending recall notices to owners on December 1, 2025. Additional letters will follow once the final repair is available.
- Contact your dealer: You can contact a Ford dealer to schedule a service appointment.
- Check your VIN: To see if your specific vehicle is included, you can enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the official Ford recall page or the NHTSA website.
