Same thing happened to me a week ago Friday , Dealer got the parts and got it fixed . (Seat belt clips) I was able to pick mine up this Friday , so hopefully it won't be too long for you.My Badlands Bronco showed up to the dealer today and when I went in to have a look and try to take it home I was told that Ford issued a stop sale and they donāt know when they will be able to let me have it.
Does anybody have any info on the status, why itās on a stop sale, or when the issue will be cleared up?
Exactly or don't wear the f'n seatbelt at all.I can't believe this stops the delivery of a truck. The belts work. How far up does your seat have to be for this to be an issue? Push the seat back, problem solved.
Most likely because Americans and are sue happy. Somebody doesn't put on their belt because it was "hard to reach," breaks their back in a crash, and the money hungry lawyers are knocking down their door saying it's Ford's fault. I don't blame them, I would make sure it goes out correctly as well.Huge bummer for those excited about the bronco. I can't believe that they are stopping deliveries for this kind of recall. I grabbed my badlands in Feb and received a letter in the mail a week ago about this seatbelt recall. Saying that at a future date, once ford figures out parts and distribution, I'll have to take it in. It's such a minor issue to stop sales (in my opinion). Basically...the recall statement goes like this..."in certain seat positions the driver and passenger seat belt is difficult to reach". Which I have never had a problem with since ownership.
How much you want for the Velocity Blue one?I got mine.
Super cheap, color matching and they have the fridge, I mean B pillar magnet built in.
We got our Badlands end of January and got the letter this week, like you my wife and I haven't had any issues with the seatbelts, my only issue is not having memory seats because the wife puts the seat Way up lolHuge bummer for those excited about the bronco. That gives me some hope, my dealership was real non committal on any timelines.Same thing happened to me a week ago Friday , Dealer got the parts and got it fixed . (Seat belt clips) I was able to pick mine up this Friday , so hopefully it won't be too long for you.
Just a little clip that goes onto the seat belt. What does the fix look like? Do they screw something into a trim panel?
I might skip this one.
They ain't much , I will try to remember to get ya some actual picturesThat gives me some hope, my dealership was real non committal on any timelines.
do you have pictures of the clips? I havenāt been able to find any.
Live Free or DieGeez, Iām envious now of my friend that lives in New Hampshire, as they donāt require seatbelts
