Protect your Bronco's undercarriage from trail damage with these Rear LCA Frame Skids from Lobo Off-Road. The rear suspension lower control arms attach to the Bronco's frame close to it's center break-over point and hang down below the frame rails, making them an easy target for high rocks and ledges on the trail. The skid has a ramp profile front face to help move the Bronco up and over rocks rather than hanging up on them.

The components are CNC laser cut from 3/16" plate steel or aluminum, brake-formed and fixture-welded for a perfect fit. Available in steel with black powder coat, and in aluminum either raw or with black powder coat.

PLEASE NOTE the aluminum skids are not as strong as our steel skids. They will provide protection to your frame components but may themselves bend if taking a hard enough hit under severe rock-crawling conditions. That said, they will provide ample protection for most use-cases, will not rust when scratched or gouged, and are about a third the weight of steel.

Why wouldn't they? The OEM lower control/trailing arm(s) are the same on every Bronco regardless of HOSS 1/2/3 suspension. Note: I'm unsure if the Raptor LCAs are different and I suspect they are.

My '22 Black Diamond has a factory skid plate welded to the front of the rear LCA. Would this fit on top of that?

I have a 22 and a 24 wildtrak. (Hoss 2.0 v Hoss 3.0). The 24 bronco has reinforced plating welded to the LCA at the frame. This is a difference.

We offer the aluminum ones raw that you can have powdercoated. Unfortunately I do not have the bandwidth to offer custom colors at this time.

They are indeed different.

Lobo has yet to produce any BRaptor products….

I'm not absolutely certain but I don't believe it's a hoss 2.0 or 3.0 issue, rather a model year issue because that is what determines if the reinforced plating from the factory is present or not.

If Lobo only tested their skid on a non-reinforced Bronco, then it's open question whether it fits on a later year Bronco so equipped....
