Have not seen much on 2.7 valve problem as of late.Maybe Ford has corrected on newer motors?Any problems on the 3.0 as it is a bored/stroked 2.7?!!!

Early 3.0l engines had head gasket and water pump issues but haven't heard of anything further on them. the majority of the 2.7l failures were valve train issues that seem to have been dealt with.

It was an isolated problem. Ford got a bad batch of valves for the Bronco 2.7’s - they identified the problem and addressed it.

The 2.7 is a solid engine. It’s been proven in the F150 the past several years.

No worries.
