Hi! Yes...I absolutely love my Raingler cargo containment nets!@Cat This is exactly what im looking for during topless time!
How do you find the quality of the mesh? If you were to order it again, would you opt for the Mil-Spec?
Talk to Raingler. They can make that for you within a day.Stop the back portion at the tailgate.
Fold passenger seat out of way. Lengthen the passenger side of the cargo net/mesh and extend to front up to dash. The front portion would be fastened to the upper roof structure.
The nets can easily hold the weight of an adult. Not for older folks but younger folks can get themselves onto it easy enuffEven easier to climb in if the top is off…
Which product is to keep a dog from jumping out? That's an issue I am trying to solve, but I'm not sure about nets all the way around the back. Thanks to Cat for making the trip to Eddie's to have all the final measurement sorted out. I had Raingler nets In my Jeep, and I can say that they are extremely heavy duty and will last many many years unlike some of the crap that is from companies that just churn stuff out. I also had some of the early prototypes in my Bronco including the divider from front seats to the rear cargo and a net that goes from the roll bar to the floor to keep a dog from jumping out...and even the prototypes fit well and worked like a charm. And to the forum member who said that the nets remind him of being in a C-130...they are very much like that and strong enough to throw whatever the non-Air Force loadmasters have at them. Currently Eddie is working on a net that spans the top of the Bronco, which would easily be strong enough to lay on like some of the hammock versions that are out there...and I asked him to put some sun protection mesh on it as well.
I have the full set from Raingler...that includes one for each side window area, a full net for the rear that spans from the floor all the way to the top of the roll bar with quick release hooks, and one across the entire roof area. If your dog is not agile enough to jump out of the roof you could skip the top net...but I like the fact that the top that keeps out excessive sun and depending on whether or not you go with mesh in addition to the netting it could keep out some light rain while you're moving. Most dogs could jump out of the tailgate area because it's so wide open, so at the very least I go with a full rear net. Some dogs may be able to get out of the side window area, so it would be cheap insurance to also have those nets.Which product is to keep a dog from jumping out? Do you mind providing link to full rear net? Your best bet is going straight to the Raingler owner...Eddie. Email him at: [email protected] and let him know what you seek (MIL-SPEC or standard, color of webbing, color of stitching). With the full height net, you can attach to your OEM rear D-rings on the floor with hooks and quick release cinches and easily unhook to get cargo or dogs in and out.Do you mind providing link to full rear net? I also have the full Raingler setup...and found that using the top net makes a great "attic" for my 4-way tire inflation hoses and jackets...the owner of that company takes great pride in his work and his products last longer than many vehicles. This is the second Rainger cargo nets I’ve had. I first bought one many years ago for my Tacoma and was pleased with how well it fit the vehicle. It was MUCH easier to install on the bronco (didn’t have to remove any side panels). I also add a carabiner quick release to the lower strap tie downs so that I can easily open and hold up the net to allow my dogs to jump in and out from the front door.![]()
