Hello! This is my first post here!
I have an order for a 2-Door Base V6 in Velocity Blue and want to do something similar to @Timinpgh , in regards to tire setup, but wanted to start a thread about some of the potential cons of adding 33s with the base 3.73 gearing. Obviously the pros are it looks awesome, adds offroad performance and added ground clearance. I do not want to do anything drastic, such as regearing, to a brand new vehicle but the bigger tires are a must to make the base look like a real Bronco! This will be my daily driver and almost all of my driving will be on road, however I do feel like I will most likely get my feet wet with some mild offroad trails because.....well because Bronco!

Any tips, feedback or advice from the community would be greatly appreciated. Picture is a mockup of the color and wheel/tire setup i'm going for so let me know what you all think! Hopefully @Timinpgh does not mind me tweaking his photo a little bit!

The wheels look great. I’m planning going with 32-33” on my base when I ever get it.

Base gearing is 4.46

Trying to decide between 265/75-R16 and 255/85-R-16. 85s are taller, but a lot less selection.

I'm curious, is there anything that actually says the M190 can't reliably support 35s? Or is it just the assumption since when you switch to the more off road oriented models you get the 210?

I’d much prefer 255s but, yeah, seems like most options (if not all) are MTs. Would be nice to have some AT options.

edit: if I keep stock Big Bend or go Black Diamond’s 17” wheels, there are some AT options for 255/80R17s

those are the kind of wheels that really set the Bronco off to me and make it look great. still hoping for some kidney bean polished wheels in the Bronco specific offset.

Either way 265 75 or 255 85 you can't go wrong. IMHO 265's will look better, but function would go to the 255's

3.73 gearing and larger tires is a bad combination. You're going to put additional stress on that transmission, kill your fuel economy, and your vehicle is not going to want to take off from stops. That's exactly why I went with the manual transmission and the 4.46 gear ratio which is very similar to The Sasquatch 4.7 gear ratio. Even so, I likely won't go bigger than 32 in tires.
