If Carroll’s personal super snake is only valued at 5 mil now, what will the depreciation be on a 2.5 mil battery powered hummer in 10 years?
It'll be worth about $20k. That thing is an ugly beast. I get the vibe of a giant modern battery powered Pontiac Aztec.

Barrett-Jackson they get 20%
Correct me if I'm wrong, but... I could swear they said that Barrett-Jackson waived/donated their commision on the charity sales: Both the Bronco VIN 001 and Hummer VIN 001.

While I get the joke, you have to be careful about guessing at what's valuable now versus in the future. Barrett Jackson started out selling Packards and Duesenbergs, which are gorgeous cars and were very popular at the time, but the market has moved on. I have a 1959 Corvette which I love, but after seeing the prices early Corvettes were bringing, I think that market is done now too. Shelbys are probably on their way out soon.

Was really digging the 1950 f1 called friction.
They were talking about how popular this build was. All I could keep thinking about was how Rick Astley would call it a boring color for people who didn't have any class. :D

Dang, thought it would at least have gone for $2 mill

Wonder how long until it ends up on StocX or Ebay for $5 mill to then be purchased from some lame YouTuber.... :cautious:

I actually was considering buying a 2005 Ford GT when they first came out. (I still think it's the best looking super car I've ever seen.) I didn't want to pay the dealer ADM, and I stupidly thought the value would come down after a while. 16 years later and the prices are still 75% above what I would have paid. And that's for a used car.

At least we know one person has purchased a Bronco!
More like Bronco Vin 001 buyer just made a $1,075,000 non-refundable down payment for the Bronco that will be delivered this summer.

Maybe that will make us feel better about a dealer asking for a $1,000 deposit.
