A lot of these look like carryovers from 2023; Yellowstone and Robin's Egg are confirmed to be '23 colors only for the Heritage Limited, with Peak Blue and one more for '24. Race Red is gone from the '24 Ranger so I think it's out for the Bronco too, and I think Area 51 is being replaced with Azure Grey Metallic. This touchup site has listed Lucid Red Pearl and Antimatter Blue for the past few years so I doubt we'll be getting those now. Eruption Green is up in the air but it was spotted on a Ranger Raptor mule so that lends credence to its inclusion for '24. If Eruption Green and Shelter Green are on the roster, then I'm betting Cayman Green will be the fourth Heritage Limited color, since three different greens would be considerable, and Tangerine Pearl will be standard, probably in part to appease Raptor buyers who wanted one in orange. If this list is to be believed then here's what I imagine will actually be available for '24:

Hot Pepper Red
Tangerine Pearl
Shelter Green Metallic
Eruption Green Metallic
Cayman Green Metallic
Peak Blue Metallic
Velocity Blue
Azure Grey Metallic
Carbonized Grey Metallic
Iconic Silver
Cactus Grey
Shadow Black
Oxford White

Leadfoot Grey was a rumored '24 color for a while, maybe it will be an exclusive limited edition trim color, but dark grey is such a popular pickup color that I doubt they'd allow it for the Bronco and not the Ranger. I'd suspected for a while that Splash Yellow would be available on the Bronco since it's debuting on the Mustang but that doesn't look to be the case. I should probably put no stock into this at all because it'll straight up ruin my week if come to find out they aren't offering the Bronco in Tangerine Pearl.

As a side note Lucid Red is Rapid Red, the color is mentioned in internal Ford systems as one and the same. I suspect it was a code name and/or not finalized.

"Imagine people seeing their first new Bronco in 20 years and it being in some colors to harken back to the actual heritage of Bronco"

That's why I decided to take sprayed panels of Mallard and Boxwood to the two Bronco show and tell events I went to. And pestered that guy from Ford on Twitter about it multiple times. And created a dopey poll. All three of these things is very against my character - but it seemed so absurd to me when the original colors were published. No one can convince me that the re-introduction would not have been even bigger if they had used ALL original Bronco colors - don't rename them, or get close to them - use the iconic colors that the most rabid fans of Bronco know and love. This all coming from a guy who has never even owned, but always loved, Broncos.
I think the hardtops being so badly fumbled is a big factor in the current colors. I remember when the Bronco Sport was first leaked, rendered in orange with a white top, the designers were clearly aiming for a very retro color palette with this. I think when they realized they weren't going to be able to have white or body-matched hardtops, they had to shift all the colors to ones that would contrast decently with slabs of grey plastic. Hopefully that means we'll have some good options in reserve once production kinks are smoothed out on the modular tops.

I just clicked on the link again to look at the list and there are 2 Oxford Whites. I didn't notice that earlier. Code YZ and Z1. From a quick search "the Z1 paint code is a much whiter color then the YZ which is creamier white." I wonder if the future models will have a different white or is this for Heritage applications since the MOD top is painted?

Ford uses the same color with different names on different products (but the color code is the same). Mustang is the normal outlier for "different name, same color".

Cactus on Bronco is the same as Fighter Jet Gray on the Mustang.
Sangria on the F-150 was the same as Candy Apple Red on the Mustang.

  • I was mistaken on AMB. Looks like they had AMB in their 2023 colors, so it's probably just there to cover 2021 touch ups
  • Looks Like Lucid Red is Rapid Red. More
  • Peak Blue looks more like A51 than the A51 sample. Internet colors never look the same.
  • Tangerine Pearl reminds me of the 'Chevy Gold' on my old '73 Olds Cutlass. I'm not sure that's a positive...
  • I'd like to see a dark green metallic
  • None of this really matters to because my HPR is built and on the way!

I'm repeating myself from other posts, but Rapid Red and AMB were great colors that failed to generate interest in 2021 because most of us had never seen a Bronco in person with natural lighting. Pictures on the internet, viewed though our computer/phone/tablet screens never do justice to the paint.
Note my edits. Looks like AMB and Lucid Red are not likely 2024 colors. Sad news...

Are the color naming people part of the Hollywood writer strike? 🤔

Was Rapid Red a tricoat? Not disputing you, but I only remember Cyber Orange as a tricoat in '21. Also...people loved the Tonka Truck look. Another beloved '21 color ditched for "51 Shades of Gray"

I recall seeing this and loved this color. This would look great on the Bronco!

Yes, Rapid is a Tri-Coat, as is Hot Pepper Red.

I know people get up in arms about colors, but while CO is gone, it has been replaced by Hot Pepper Red, and Eruption Green.

My complaints are more about what Ford took out and replaced. Dark Blue and Dark Red metallics are perennial favorites in the truck world. I have ordered mine in HPR, but AMB and RR were both preferences.

I get it, Ford is one of the few manufacturers to offer interesting colors every year. I get that you don't like them, but they're making decisions on what is best for the business. As much as you and I agree about this, the general public buys boring colors. Shit, mine is Cactus Gray to appease my wife's color palate, otherwise AMB would have been my choice.

Looks like this website is also listing Tangerine Pearl and Cayman Green as colors for the 2023 F-150 and 2024 Mustang. Being that we know the 2023 F-150's colors and the 2024 Mustang's colors have been confirmed, with neither of the colors present, this feels to me like an error rather than a substantial leak, unfortunately. Shame, I was really holding out for a proper orange to be available.
