2024 Double Honk gone???

I just purchased a new 2024 bronco and it doesn’t have the double honk when exiting the vehicle with they key.
did they change this for 24’s?

My 2024 would do the double honk (at least till I disabled it with Forscan), so it's not gone for all 2024s.

My 2024 double honks and it’s annoying as hell. I don’t fully close my door when I get out and leave it running so it doesn’t do that. But if I go to the other side and open and close that door it double honks also. Double annoying.

Yes. It doesn’t have it. My brother and dad have broncos also (not 24s) and both of theirs honk.
mim planning to disable their honks and change my DRL to amber.
Just found it I retesting that my 24 isn’t doing the honk.

Now I wonder why mine doesn't do it lol. Not that I miss it as our explorer and F-150 remind me how annoying it is.

First thing I disabled with ForScan. So annoying. I also had a habit of setting off the panic button on my key, I changed that too.

Ours does it when exiting with it running and shutting the door fully.

My Ram honks 3 times when doing this.

It has made me start leaving the doors open when I have to exit the vehicle with it running unless the weather is bad.

The Rams and Chryslers are really annoying. We have a few for work. Only way to stop it (without modification of course) is to hold the key up near the door. So stupid. Even does it if you remote start.

I have set off the panic (by accident) at least 5 times since I got this Bronco in June. I've never had that problem with other Fords. (Keys were always in my pocket when it happened)

I wasn't aware that it could be disabled in Forscan. Now I have a second reason (in addition to double-honk) to stop procrastinating and figure out Forscan.

Thanks for mentioning the Panic thing.

Yes, mine is a 24 (built in May) and has double-honk. I too just leave the door open when stepping away for a second,
but when you have the doors off, it double-honks as soon as you get out of the vehicle.

Take pictures of before, so you have a hard copy record of initial state should you want to go back.
