Does anyone know if any changes have been made to the MIC top for MY2025? I ordered a Badlands with the MIC top on Friday and I'm wondering if I should switch to the painted shadow black top before it's too late to change.

Personally I’d go with the painted top. Seems like they aren’t cracking (unless I missed it) but that’s just preference. I’d love to be able to buy one

There is only one version of the MIC top, they only adjusted the manufacturing process when they first started production, there is no version 2.
But on a happy note, my 2021 top is just fine.

I would change to painted. I think the painted tops are manufactured by a different company than the MIC tops (better quality). I also like the white interior finish on them better than the dark gray of the MIC

You like the white?
I just remember my Jeep tops and how dirty they became and how cheap it looked!

What I meant was, did they address the problem or are they continuing to put those issue-plagued tops on the vehicles.

I do like the white Interior. Its just personal preference I guess. I wish the exterior was painted in a matte black rather than gloss. If I was ordering a new Bronco I'd go for the color matched top.

IMO, if they manufacture it correctly, with the current "formula" for gen2 or whatever you want to call it, I'm guessing the tops last. Now whether or not they're being manufactured correctly is another matter altogether.

It's likely the methodology for manufacturing doesn't lend itself to consistency hence the widespread problems but without every single MIC failing.

4 door top is on its 3rd version,
2 door top is on its second.

I'm not sure all of the painted tops have the white inside, particularly the two door with painted tops. I've been trying to find interior pictures from 2 door painted tops, but so far only found Stroppe edition, which doesn't look like it has white inside. Also, because 2 door painted tops have the extra removable portal over the backseat, maybe it's totally different.

When I saw the painted 2025 top on Long McArthur Ford's channel, the black painted top appeared to be a MIC top inside (same honeycomb structure inside as the MIC).

Having a '24 HLE painted all the way. Of course I get the MOD top.
