285/70r16 rubbing front and rear crash bars

Just thought it was interesting. Most people seem to get away with leaving the crash bars on with 285/70r17 tires, but with the 17x9 +1 offset wheels I got I'm rubbing the rear crash bars pretty badly at full turn. Took those out, front have minor rub but it's significantly better.

Base 2 door for reference. If I had to guess, with +35 or so offset I wouldn't be having this issue (but I do love some minor poke).

Yep, you'll get that with lots of poke. The outside edge of the tire tread is creating a bigger arc as it swings back and forth...
