Full or half rack?

For carrying what?

Carryig a rooftop hotel? A cargo box worth more the the crap inside it? A shovel and axe that never gets scratched? A terrible jack meant for masochistic farmers? A mother-in-law?

Is your budget Yootoobe influencer or living on ramen wannabe Yootoobe influencer?

I'm personally a fan of the OEM one. It holds my kayak & snowboard rack perfectly well. Plus it matches the design aesthetic of the vehicle while not look like a bunch of laser-cut sheetmetal pieces with random logos cut into every empty space available.

I'm sure you could find a take-off fairly cheap.

I have the OEM rack with the 3rd crossbar. Carry a RTT and awning, total about 160lbs. I've seen others carry over 200lbs on the OEM.

Look through the Forum Marketplace, this is a popular item to remove. I'd bet you can get an OEM rack way cheaper than most aftermarket ones (If I remember right, it was only a $300 option when I ordered mine).

I have the TrailRax with the side molle panels. It’s pricey but it will hold anything you need and you can remove the front tops easily

I’m happy with the OEM rack. I’ve hauled lumber and ladders up there.
