Happens more often than you think out here in CO when the gps detours people onto these "county" roads which most CO trails are labeled.

Man that stinks if gps takes unsuspecting drivers on a detour on unpaved mountain trails!

I can’t wait to get out there myself, it’s in the bucket list.

Happened numerous time this summer when people were diverted by their GPS off of I-70 due to the wildfires and they'd end up on mountain shelf roads w/ long trailers or crossing creeks in Honda sedans to get to where they needed to go.

2 weeks later..... Sunken and stuck in a dry lakebed. It took over 2 months to extract it due to the soft conditions of the lakebed and inability to get heavy towing rigs on-site.

GPS hell.
I've been taken down a cornfield dirt road at 2 am following the GPS before. Wasn't much else I could do, but at least it wasn't through the mountains.

I feel bad for this guy.
