I'm pavement with dirt roads/gravel on weekends. No rock climbing. What are your thoughts on a 35x11.5 R17? Meet in the middle?
Up to you I guess.

I will say the the biggest selling point of the Sasquatch package on the Badlands trim is the factory 315/70r17 tires. So it's a bit odd to spend $2,500 to get the Sasquatch package, and then get a smaller tire than what the Sasquatch package came with.

People that are running 35x10.5r17 and 35x11.5r17 are usually those who did not order the Sasquatch package but are wanting to upgrade without blowing up the budget. But if you wanted to downsize your tire... go for it I guess?

Well put. To be honest I picked up the fully loaded badlands with sasquatch package for future resale value of the vehicle. Lower gearing option for me and a future owner. This way it's all there.

Seems weird indeed.

I like narrow tires
And all we have here is mud.

Micky Thompson’s Baja boss in 255/85r17…. It is narrow as hell.

but even if I change rims most 10.50 are too wide for my alternate rims
Those tires are what I am looking to run on mine if it ever gets built, as I don't like the look of the tires sticking outside of the fenders.

My choice of narrow tire has nothing to do with budget. I’d also guess 35X11.50 is more expensive than 35X12.50. I just don’t like wide tires on my 4WDs.

This is my rig....trying to get that utilitarian look with the best performance for my trail driving and commuting. Steel wheels 0 off set in the future but struggling with tire size.

you could always just drive it more so you wear out the tires faster and try other sizes and brands? just a thought. I will wear out the stock ones before I start shopping. so Ill be road tripping and exploring as much as I can. But tire shopping is touch. so many variables. the struggle is real.
