Just got my Bronco... don't want anyone to rear-end me. Considering installing the 3rd brake light in the spare tire, not so much for aesthetics, but more for safety. My question is: can you leave the factory 3rd brake light on there AND install the ring light or does the factory one have to be removed altogether? It may be too much but I think I'd prefer to have both. I don't hate the factory one, just feel like it isn't very big, especially above that huge tire.

All you would have to do is just splice into it, unless the kit you have plugs into the tail light. Either way there should be no problem keeping both 🤠
