Yeah looks nice it's getting harder and harder to find the first Gen non Butchered . They even kept the original high output inline 6 . Hehehe

You don't see many that came with the factory grill reflectors and even fewer of them that still have them in place.

Or ones that needed at least some type of restoration work. I can’t imagine there’s many of these left that are straight out of the catalog and documented from order, build, to purchase to date.

I’ve seen this at local shows before. And have absolutely loved it. The owner is a forum member, genuinely nice guy, so I in no way want to jump on his coattails or step on his toes. His truck. His story to tell; if he chooses to.

It’s just too beautiful not to share. And it was cool seeing them together side by side. Where it started and where we are.

Both attracted the fascination of kids and adults like no other vehicle I know. Bronco just screams, “hey, let’s go do something.” Or maybe I’m biased

and just for S&G, my ‘72 that I sold in 2002 (still hurts to think about) It was not OE. There’s more fiberglass then metal there. Hood. Tailgate. Fender Flares. Which is why the ‘69 is that more rare. Not many untouched today.

My 66' u14 is still original(except for the chrome bed tie downs) but has 70k more miles than the 69'...had 5 owners and lived in 4 states lol. It came with a ton of paperwork and receipts from the last 57y except for the window sticker. Enough paperwork to be able to follow owners from Ohio to California to Texas to Oklahoma.

It was great talking to you yesterday! I love talking Broncos so glad you shared the pictures, and your story as well about your '72. That's what's great about the hobby. I will share the story on the '69 on here at some point. I think the next show I go to will crest the mileage over 7k but that's why I have it.

BTW I think I saw you on 295N this morning around 10a, I was headed southbound in my '21.
