Silly question. What are the modules? And how do we know if they populated? Where do we find a tear tag?

Some additional background on Modules.

As your Bronco goes down the assembly line all of the parts get put together which includes hundreds or maybe thousands of computer chips. Once the 12v battery gets connected and the Bronco is started for the first time, the modules start communicating and because of the Sim card in the vehicle, it also communicates directly with Ford.

Those modules are populated on the Motorcraft website so Ford and dealerships know exactly what your Bronco should have. We use this link keeping track of when our Bronco came to life. This is the first thing that gets updated where we have access to see what is going on.

Regarding the "Tear Tag", that is a data field on the Motorcraft website which gets updated a few hours or within a day of the modules populating. I think this just indicates all of the modules are complete.

Each VIN will have different modules depending on vehicle options. E.G. Modules for a 2.7L or for a Mid package will be different than the modules for a 2.3L or a High package. Or modules for the factory trailer tow will be extra compared to no trailer tow. If you download the modules into excel, it is amazing that there may be 1000's of rows of data. Each representing key computer chips.

I keep hitting refresh on the modules in hopes to see them populated but since I'm 1868/2150 it might not be until tomorrow. But then it should be moved to the built category since I'm not getting any extras put on it.

My modules are populated and I have a tear tag as well! Blend date of 8/30 and I was #4 of 2150.

I'm doing the same thing (1398/2150) which is really dumb because I know that it'll be sometime mid morning tomorrow before they populate. (Still probably 1,000 Bronco's ahead of me to get updated).

But, I keep hoping that somehow Ford will do something special for my Bronco and get it alive sooner.

I'm doing the same thing (1398/2150) which is really dumb because I know that it'll be sometime mid morning tomorrow before they populate. (Still probably 1,000 Bronco's ahead of me to get updated).

But, I keep hoping that somehow Ford will do something special for my Bronco and get it alive sooner.

Saw a post in another thread that like a watched pot never boils a tracked bronco never delivers. Man aint that the truth lol

Rotation number is the 1444/2150. I am 1580/2150 so You are about 140 broncos ahead of me. The 5954 number would be your blend/sequence number which honestly is very similar. Ford assigns these numbers in order up to 9999 then it resets back to zero. So mine is 6090. Essentially the easiest way to look at it is the rotation number is your place in line for that day, your sequence number is your place in line overall. Hope that helps!
