911 Stereo system rescue

I don't know what to say about this install other than its the worst I've ever seen. This is a kids Bronco, he's in town for the holidays from out of state college. I will be removing the amps and cleaning up everything they did to make it safe.
Installing:

Mobridge A2B Standard
Audison 4.500
Audison 1.500
(2) JL 10w6v3-D4
Building a sub enclosure

Going to run the existing Kicker speakers until he comes back for the summer and install dash pods and Focal Performance 3-ways

At least I see a fuse in that kick panel picture.

Just not sure it's going to anything on the stereo install.

For kids... honestly, apart from the fact that I don't see a fuse coming off the battery... not the worst hatchet job I've seen (or, I have to admit, done myself in my younger days)

If they had just taken a hot knife to the battery positive shield to clean those cuts up it would have almost looked professional under the hood.

Hopefully you are teaching them the better methods as you are doing the work - they seem to have got it working in the first place, which is half the battle.

p.s. can you teach me how to make those enclosures - that looks nice.

The amp rack is from https://www.stereosteves.com/ I was sketchy on the time frame that i have with the Bronco to get the amp rack in time but Steve came through. He has them in stock and got it to me super quick. It fits perfectly.

Very fancy. If I wasn't 3/4's deaf half the time... My brother would've been the prior installer, y'know the one who set his Bug on fire with us in it because the back seat kept pinching the wire against the floor pan. He was born with a hacksaw for an arm.
