it is too noisy
it is shaped like a brick and burns too much gas
it has too much plastic
it cost too much

it gives too many smiles per mile
goddamn, I love it
Perfect summary. Same here.

As a Frmr. Marine, it pains me greatly to say this, but that tire cover looks freaking awesome on that color Bronco! LOL

Probably work well with VB also.

I went with the Marine Corps plates my State offers.

(Had no idea there was a place to sell used plates online ...wtf?)
The color combo is a big reason we went with this particular tire cover, I'm pretty happy with it.

My license plate is a NC Partially Disabled Veteran plate (has the handicapped symbol due to my bad knee).

Big Marine heritage in my wife's family (my family was all Navy in WWII). Both of her grandfathers were Marines. One in Korea, and the other was one of the original WWII Raiders (2d Bn under Roosevelt).

If you want more than the license plate you should check out tirecovers.com. The camera hole will be smack in the middle, so keep that in mind.

I get the point of the OP and it’s good to get perspective on the problems that may or may not be common to the Bronco but we really won’t know reliability until we get a good sampling of objective data. There are some common problems surfacing but we really don’t have a clue what percentage of Broncos are affected (even the 2.7 valve debacle).

7000 miles in 6 months, and there's only two things I don't like about the FE: Lack of sport mode, and the carpeted floors (I do have the rubber mats). I'd have gotten a Badlands if the FE reservation didn't fall in my favor.

That said, I'm insanely happy with everything else, especially the Lightning Blue. And @Bullitt, if your Bronco is the same USAFA-area one I've seen online before, you might want to consider the spare tire cover I got from tirecovers.com:

Above is the RekGen mudflaps I added to the front. We had to remove the rock rails and put on step bars for mobility reasons, so finding mudflaps that would work was a chore.

I've also recently added the Mabett back seat rear covers, but my favorite addition is the JCROffroad MOLLE panels on the center console. However, the included screws are crap, and I had to use machine screws (and squeeze my hand behind the console with a nut the screws could thread into).

Love your Air Force tire cover.

I went with this one.

You need three headlamp sized spotlights for that blank space in the middle of the bumper.😜

2600 miles on mine and I love it. Have not seen another one like mine so it gets A LOT of stares. It's like having three types of cars. Eco is the equivalent of my Fusion Hybrid drive wise (without the mileage obviously). Normal is the fun drive around town mode. Sport reminds me of my Mustang, very responsive. Yes it's loud, yes the mileage isn't great but I knew that going in and still have a smile on my face each time I drive it.

My biggest complaint is not about the vehicle, but about how the trim levels really prevent you from building the perfect Bronco for yourself.

A few examples:
Can't get a manual Big Bend or Black Diamond mid-package.
Can't get cloth seats with washout floors.
Adaptive cruise (safety related tech) is ONLY available in the Lux package.

I am sure that I could come up with others. I might have picked a higher trim had the interior colors not been restricted to individual trims (for example, if I could have gotten the OBX cloth interior on the Badlands, I might have gone with that.

I am approaching 17k miles, and no significant issues yet, but my motor is in the window of failed motors.
