Accutune Fox coilover question

it looks like the shop just randomly set the collars at their mid point. You should have some room to ad preload in front and remove preload in rear. This will help with ride height.

But why on earth would the shop want to use spacers instead of simply moving the adjusters. A bit less on the rear and a bit more on the front and it should be level. I do question the choice of the spring rate on the rear though.

Lubricate not only the threads but spraying some lube at the adjuster face and spring will also help. Of course the vehicle jacked up by the frame until the tires are barely off the ground to relieve some spring pressure will help. It’s by no means an easy or quick adjustment without a spring compressor but can definitely be done with a good adjuster tool and some effort.

If your shock lengths are accurate, there is room to go taller in the front and less preload in the rear to level out the Bronco. We should be referencing this diagram when measuring:

Max recommended length at ride height = 22.50"

Rear Fox Coilovers:
Compressed Length: 19.24” | Extended Length: 27.21”
Max recommended length at ride height = 23.00"

Fox is releasing an upgraded spring option that is .5 taller than the stock option. I believe the accutune eibachs is even shorter than the factory Fox. I would go with the upgraded Fox.

Fox reps at the Bronco stampede in TN told me they were coming out with a whole coilover with new rates to match the firmer springs they were planning.

For those comparing springs, its important to compare the spring rate which includes length and weight rating. Just bc the spring is shorter, doesn't mean is softer or provides less lift.

In fact soft springs are usually longer than stiff springs.
